Ableton Live 8.3.3/4 Crashes on start because of Radeon 4890 I have a Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon 4890 HD. It was working just great with Ableton Live until Lion 10.7.2. I upgraded to 10.7.4 and Ableton Live won't run anymore, crashes at startup. I have done all the Google research I can,. Ableton + Serum = crashes. Anyone able to help me with this issue? Authentic copy of Ableton 10 suite (recently reset also) and authentic rent-to-own serum. I just tried Serum on my Mac and the same problem exists. Serum crashes while changing presets and takes Ableton down with it. It is not as extreme as on PC and only crashes after 4 - 8 preset changes on average. I am a new Splice user so maybe it could be a Splice issue? Hope this helps. Serum for Ableton on Mac? Could anyone find this? Every single version I've tried either crashes Ableton, or is for Windows.
Hi, I have a strange bug with Logic and Serum. At some point while using a heavy Serum patch, Logic starts crashing every time I delete a track. It also affects the 'track alternative' function, so every time I try to change to another alt. or create/delete on Logic crashes. This also happens when I import only the SERUM track into a new project. So I'm pretty sure this is an Serum/Logic issue. And I'm pretty sure it's related to only cpu heavy patches. I'm a pro user so this is quite devastating since I've been very dependent on Serum since I introduced it in my workflow/sound.
Also Logic 'un-freeze' tracks when I undo, this also seem related to slamming the cpu.
I'm about to migrate to Cubase, I cannot stand all these bugs anymore.

Serum Crashes Ableton Mac Torrent
I have a Mac book Pro Generation 2 with Mac OSX 'Mountain Lion'
2GB RAM
a 2.26 GHz Intel Core2 duo Processer
And Im trying to Run Ableton Live 9 Suite
Wich keeps crashing.
In the project i have 2 midi Tracks running the massive Vst
Another Midi Track Running Machine 2.0
a Kick, A Snare, And A drum WAV file on an Audio Track
and i am Using The Machine Mk2 Controller
And the M-Audio Keystation88es Midi Keyboard
and each track having an average of three audio effects. (Eq, Compressors, Reverb, Delay ect) nothing too crazy
Ableton gave me a shit load of problems with installation, but once i finally got it up it seems i cant run my project for more then 20 min. or so before the whole damn thing crashes. I really hope its not a ram Issue since i Can't afford a new Computer Any time in the near future. and i Just bought all this shit. (moving up from a Pirated FL Studio's on an old beat up HP) anyway i'm hoping somebody out there can help me!
